Despite the world is filled with some self-identified Christains who cannot stand the test of faith, there are still numbers of them that will stop at nothing to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ even till the point of death. Here is the story of teenage Christian boy who was killed by some extremists in his country. His last statement before he was killed shows his love for Christianity.

According to Morning star news (website known for reporting brutality on Christains), a 19-year-old boy known as Dante Tambika, but also known as Patrick was beaten and strangled to death near a lake side by some Muslim Jihadists in Uganda.

From the report, Patrick and his 3 other friends went for boat fishing at an area lake when they noticed the presence of some Muslims boys following them. They were attacked. During the attack three of them survived but Patrick was killed. One of the survivor, known as Stephen Mukama reported the incident.

Stephen said they were going towards the lake when some Muslim boys who were five in numbers initially followed them inciting provocative words at them, but they ignored. He said when they were coming back 2 hours later they saw the same boys and one of them was chanting the jihad slang "Allah Akbar" and from no where some other 6 boys trooped out.

This was the time attack was launched on them inside their boat and they were asked to denounce their faith in which they refused.

According to Stephen, when he questioned the attackers why they should compromising Christianity. The Jihadists replied that Patrick's late father, known as Boaz was once a successful evangelist in the town and he had converted some of their members to become Christians. This made them to be in search for Patrick.

Stephen was able to escape with two other of his friends to the shores of the lake because they could swim but Patrick who could not because he lacks swimming skills was attacked and battered. Stephen's effort to Call for defense was already late which finally led to the killing of Patrick by the extremists.

Patrick had been strongly mentored by his father before he died, to the level that he was also able to convert teenagers like him into Christians.

One beautiful thing about Patrick's death was that he was ready to die for the cause of his faith. Stephen quoted Patrick saying he can't renounce Christianity when the Jihadists requested them to do so. Patrick said if they want to kill them they should do

In my opinion, Patrick's death might be a sad event to his family and people of the earth but his soul will be celebrated in heaven for dying for the cause of Jesus Christ and not compromising him when the need arises. Nobody can ever pray to be persecuted but if the case arises this can be a lesson to every Christain out there that no matter what, you have to stand your ground for the sake of your faith.

According to what Matthew 10:33 said if Patrick had denied Jesus, his soul would also be denied in heaven. But for his brave act on earth, I can ascertain that Patrick have a space with the Almight God..
