It’s not just about destroying the beer.
It’s more of the fact that the North have a state police “Hisbah”, have its own law that says selling of alcoholic drinks is illegal despite the Nigerian law saying otherwise, preventing people from doing a legitimate business has constituted by the Nigerian law.

But when the South says No to open crazing, it becomes a national issue.
