In search for a perfect blend of comfort, performance, looks and reliability and the vehicle will be used for travels and intra city driving at the various destinations although won't be a daily driver as such.

I need a car with mad acceleration in the 5.5 - 6.0s range that feels balanced at speeds above 140kph and can still pull away when you stomp down. Sporty looks as well with a comfortable well appointed interior, good leather and dash.

In terms of reliability, I should be able to hit the road by 1am with no worries. Like wake 10pm and do Lagos to Abuja alone....with parts & repairs not too costly as well.

Sometimes too I get up at night and take a long drive around Abuja as well, slow and fast speeds in the empty smooth roads just enjoying the sights and being alone with myself. grin I don't want a car that springs CEL at any given time angry

Fuel consumption is not too much if a concern as I run an average 20k on fuel weekly at the moment but I don't want full tank to diminish in 2 days grin

Sadly my budget is just #2.5m so I'll be looking for a well used Naija version. 3 options came to mind within that price range I'll like to discuss below but suggestions are welcome please.

Kindly note I didn't include the w212 as I don't like the design. I'm also looking at a mid size sedan for space as I'm a family man with a little girl.

1. 2007 Avalon: This ride has one the finest interiors I've seen, the limited edition I mean. The exterior also looks kiss. 3.3 v6 that delivers 268hp and 248lb-ft at 4,700rpm is not so bad either. It just falls short of the other two but makes up for that with the Toyota reliability and durability. It is also spacious and a head turner. Downside is it's a Front Wheel drive embarassed. I've not test driven but experience tells me this car won't be so stable at high speeds or around bends.

2. Infiniti G35 v36: At 306bhp, 363nm and Rwd this car is a dream. I also love the fact that it's not a common sight on the road. This car has bested many cars in it's year and category on 0-60 specs as well.

My grouse is the exterior look, doesn't come across as luxurious or sporty. Reviews have also expressed that the cabin can do with more space. Fuel consumption is also a factor as I read it's a guzzler and it's parts are quite pricey.

3. e60 545/550i: Particularly the LCI. Those halo led lights are killer. With a simple bumper swap to M-sport and a good tyre setup this car is fire. This ride is next in line to the M5. V8 engine (I love) with mad power of about 368hp and 450nm.

Even the g35 will have it hard with this ride. I've watched a race where the g35 edged it by a split second from start, like half of the body but this car held on and then started gaining by above 100kph. Mad oh grin

Car has cabin space as well but it is a heavy car, maintenance is also quite expensive. We're talking 8 plugs and over 2 quartz of premium engine oil at service. The reliability of BMW is also questionable. That aside, the interior design is crap and doesn't age well. All plasticky and stuff.

What's the best choice here my people.

1. 5.5s to 60 is nothing like mad acceleration.
2. Comot mind from that BMW

I'd say go with the 07-08 G35.
