Weda DI or deskjet, if you are good, your customers will always stay loyal to you. In computer business, people don't go to Cafes anyhow. They stick to who they know is good at it after first patronage. Especially more, if you exchange contacts with them and keep in touch.

sorry oga! You went into business with a wrong notion 'because of lack of job' most successful entrepreneurs would not accept a pay job on their way building up their business. Now there must be a weak point from your competitor you can explore if you look closely unless if you think your only problem is lack of fund to meet up with your competitor. One word...don't quit!

If they new shop looks like it has a future and will grow you could talk to them to see if your business could be a subsidiary of theirs since you share a similar model to theirs only smaller. You’ll be like a sort of franchise and adopt the name of their shop. You get to share their resources and they get an automatic expansion and your resourcefulness and particular know-how. You all workout expenses and benefits by ratio or whatever….

find out how to cater to the new larger business and their customers, which is what smaller businesses traditionally do when a larger company lands on their doorstep.

Business is about finding solutions to problem and been able to pay the bills while doing that. If you have a competition in your neighborhood and you're losing customers then it means that the new guy is solving a new problem he discovered in your neighborhood, so why not look for a new problem and solve?? Ordinarily, business is competitive in nature so you shouldn't give up at this point.
