There have been an upsurge of youth I have come across each telling me they are buying and selling gift cards.

What amazes me most is that most stores like konga, Jumia and spar don't have gift card.

So where do they get those cards from and what purpose are they using it for.

Even here on NL there are various advert on buying and selling gift card which are not used here.

The other thing is BTC we don't mine it down here and some of us hold it for speculation purpose...but some people are always buying with out any purpose.

What's really going on among our youth

Nigerian Youth belongs to international community of internet entrepreneur worldwide that sells digital and physical services online and get paid in Digital currency converted to local currency

Now what are Digital Services?! How are they sold?! How can you plug in ?!

Few examples

- writting assignment, workshop papers, seminar papers, speeches , content for blogs

Usually in a busy world students in colleges overseas get different assignment to submit daily, yet they work daily to raise their tuition fees , pay their students loan and utility bill..

A smart students knows if he works at a restaurant or bar in the UK he makes £5 per hour for 10 hours he makes £50 that ₦30,000 every 10 hours work, if such students gets an assignment with the topic write " five pages essay on why you think the earth is round, sphere, oval, or flat" to be submitted within 48 hours, he simply post a classified Advert on a classified website or freelance website for who is interested for such essay for a fee of £15

If a Nigerian gets such offer, his payment is limited to Digital currency and Giftcards

*Because CBN has barred most transaction to local account, pegging it at $1000 a person per quarter

*Wstern Un, MnyGrm are also blacklisted in most countries because Nigerian Government , NFIU and CBN keeps fustrating transactions by delaying it's clearance
