Chelsea’s Defender, Marcos Alonso is of the opinion that the anti-racism gesture of taking the knee is “losing a bit of strength” and he wouldn’t continue to be a part of it.

Most Premier league staff and players have been performing this gesture before matches since the 2019 -2020 season in June as a way of advocating for the Black Lives Matter movement against racism.

Marcus Alonso however said that he had come up with his own way of supporting the movements by putting his finger to the badge.

He said: “I prefer to put my finger to the badge”.
