Start with UI/UX it is easier and has a more structured path, plus the gigs you do, once you are done, you are done. Learn Figma and gradually learn HTML, if you learn Figma, I can counsel you on finding remote gigs, but you have to join our thread. Upwork here

No difference but in my context when I say gigs i mean freelance and when I say jobs I mean fulltime, sometimes I might also mean gig a job you can consider as a not your primary job, maybe side job. Depends sha

A quick fast path, learn about UI/UX Design principle, once you have mastered designing and can do mockup, Join Shopify Partner slack channel and learn how to make mockup of Shopify ecommerce templates, they are straight forward and you can easily get gigs as they are only 10 pages and different companies might reachout to you. but regardless join us in the Upwork thread

Hi

Please I would like to join the Upwork thread. I started learning UI design some months ago and I have gained some mastery of it, but I would like to improve myself further.
