The founder of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi during the week arrived in Abuja for a 10-day crusade tagged Divine Solution.

To the surprise of many, the reverend man of God and his wife were seen to have arrived with private jet while waiting right at the tarmac was a white stretch limousine, that took the couple into town. The man of God and his wife were heartly welcomed by members of the church with sounds of music and jubilation.

The recent show of wealth and exotic wordly materials by Kumuyi has once again laid credence to the fact the religion is practised by time while civilization also plays a role.

Once upon a time, the church is known to frown at the use of exotic things which they termed worldly and to the extent that the use of television was seen as allowing a devil's box in someone's house but recently, the church has moved away from the past doctrines and principles to embrace the reality on ground that civilization and technology are tools needed to properly propagate the gospel of christ.

Jesus Christ exercise royalty in the bible Matthew 21:1–11 during the triumphant entry, ''As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples,  saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.”

People have argued that if it was this period of time, Jesus could have also used Jet.

While there are bad sides of civilization and technology, we can as well pick the good side as christians to influence our world. While there was no speaker and microphones during the time of Jesus, we are all using it today in all our gatherings to communicate to the world and that did not stop those having worldly parties from using it too.

As Pastor Kumuyi has spoken silently against previous doctrines, it's important for christians and denominations to sit down and check the old doctrines they are practising to know which one was inserted through human emotions and make the right adjustment

The Gospel, God's New Covenant Law, as taught by Jesus Christ has not changed - not a dot of the Word of God has changed - in the last 2000 years. Jesus Christ's teachings never set His followers against civilization or technology to begin with. He didn't even send His followers to fight against the world nor stand against them.

But because this Kumuyi's doctrines flips with the times, Christians should also flip with the times? Is this a joke? Or is this some reporter error of some sort?
