Dear Nairalanders especially those who lives or have lived in the south east or south south, I need your advise in relocating to a cheaper state In the south east or south south region. I am presently in Lagos and the cost of living here is steadily on the rise and killing right now and I think its high time I leave Lagos with my family. Pls guys in Awka, Onitsha, Aba, Uyo, Ikot Ekpene and the rest can tell me more about accommodation, cost of food, school, transport etc and other reasons why I should choose a particular state or city. I value every single contribution to make this important decision of my life. Thanks

i base in uyo. transportation is very cheap. very cheap. what you will spend your entire salary on in feeding. meals and foodstuff are expensive as fuuuuck here. accomodation is moderate. cost of schooling is moderate but girls here are very wayward.

You better find another state in South West to relocate...SS and SE are very expensive to live in terms of foods. Accommodation might be fair....the electricity in SE is the worst in Nigeria

Y not try relocate to ibadan or oshogbo.

Lol as if you leave in South East ,I hate it when people will start typing rubbish without concrete evidence , umuahia is one of the peaceful cities in Nigeria every thing is cheap except no work, light in my area is going 18 hrs a day

Why didn't you mention Enugu , cheap transport, peaceful, cheap food , electricity in most places is awesome,nice places and nice girls too, just expensive accommodation, work and networking is okay.
