Promzy99:Don't blame NIGERIANS back home for one bit. They have suffered uninterrupted onslaught from BoKo Haram Kidnappings, and many more. So any safer haven is welcomed You don't expect war torn humans to keep quiet. |

Reflect7:The Truth is, The number of homeless people you find in the USA is dependent on many factors. Do you know that people leave LAGOS Airport on immigrant basis, arrive the US with just a luggage and in many months they start reaping their benefits. Now every society has got RULES. Some take theirs serious unlike Nigeria that's Lawless. In AMERICA, If you are ever caught spearheading troubles or involved in any form of crime, that will be the beginning of your DOWNFALL. IF you do drugs... you also render yourself unemployable. Now CALIFORNIA has got many homeless people because of their proximity to MEXICO which is still a struggling nation. Such is not the case with the US States like Minnesota, North Dakota and Montana which share border with Canada. The Reason is, CANADA is a far more developed nation than Mexico and one shouldn't expect overwhelming migration from that side. The above informs the reason for the building of WALL to cut off Mexican migrants. The Funny Thing now is people from all parts of the world fly into MEXICO just to trek from there to the United States/Mexico border. Now when you arrive the US, the new wahala of GREENCARD begins. Not easy at all. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Reflect7:Yeah, when I live in a place where I am being paid £8 per hour, I will definitely pay more in taxes, but I will see the local municipal council come weekly to empty my trash, see police patrol and not block roads with tire and woods, call 911 and be responded to immediately, go to polling units to vote and not fear of ballot boxes being snatched, and so many other vices. Modified: I pay 7.5% from a minimum wage of 30000 Naira, and I indirectly pay same on any product I buy. What is it used for? 4 Likes |

UncleSnr: Pay 30% of your salary on tax then another 3% on health Insurance then see if you wouldn't demand better appropriation of your funds. |
