The creator was very specific about this." You shall have no gods but me. " That is very specific in what it says and what it means." What is a god before God ?
It is anything that is looked at and considered to be holy and equal to or above Him. Anything that a person thinks or is told that is equal to or higher than God is a false God and is an idol. God simply does not want any mediator or intermediary between him and us. He asked us to come to him directly. This is one reason why I keep maintaining that the so called new testament is not of Jewish origin. If Jesus has anything to do with God he would have known this Commandment and upheld it. By placing himself before God he has violated it and broken it and also asked others to do. Thus making them rebels against their creator. Now let's look at what a idol is. It is anything that is an image that is made from us mere mortals to show or present it as being worshiped as being holy. For example those stone angels that people have on their back porch or garden are idols. The cross that is in a den. An idol. The picture of ( you know who ) is an idol.
Jesus is supposed to be a man. Worshipping the likeness of anything on earth is prohibited. It is idolatry.
And now that brings into the picture of stealing.
" Thou shalt not steal."
Stealing is more than just a physical act it is also a spiritual act. And it also goes along with adultery. Stealing, idol worship.
When a person worships a " thing as being holy " is stealing from G-d and from the person or people they are talking to. Stealing the time from a person or people. Stealing from God and corrupting it into a supposed " Holy thing " that was made. A idol to be worshipped and said it is " holy ".
Adultery. We all know what that is. Sleeping with another man's wife or husband. But what about spiritual adultery ?? Claiming to love one God but worshipping another. Adultery, idol worship, stealing ect, ect, ect.
God gave Moses Torah. ( If I have over stepped I ask for your forgiveness ). Torah wasn't just meant for the Hebrew. It was meant for all mankind. The 7 Laws of Noah are for all mankind. To be observed by all and done as G-d Commanded all of humanity to observe and obey.
