All the hullabaloo about Southern presidency is about to become a mirage if insinuations and plans going on by the two dominant parties become a reality.

It is alleged that PDP is planning to give their ticket to Atiku with Obi as his vice while APC will give theirs to Osinbajo with maybe Zulum as his vice. If this scenario turns out to be true, then it's game over for Southern presidency aspirations in 2023.

I will explain!

1. Atiku will definitely win the NE and NW by wide margins against Osinbajo.

2. Atiku will win the SE by wide margins due to Obi and PDP factors.

3. Osinbajo will win the SW by wide margins but Lagos will be shared by both parties.

4. Osinbajo will win the SS by a smaller margin based on Southern presidency campaign.

5. Atiku will win the NC comfortably but not with wide margins.

So Atiku wins NE, NW, SE, and NC while Osinbajo wins SW and SS.

If truly the North wants power to go South, then PDP wouldn't or shouldn't give their ticket to Atiku/Obi because that's an irresistible combination. Atiku is ethnically fulani and religiously Muslim but on both counts he is widely seen as a moderate. Also, Atiku is seen as enlightened. Obi is also seen as a good economist and administrator with lofty ideas.

Osinbajo and Zulum can't match such personalities at all. Also, Muslims generally has a herd mentality and would never vote for another person who is not a Muslim, least of all a pastor.

The Northerners are very cunning, their elite will publicly stand with Osinbajo and Zulum but clandestinely work with Atiku. Even some of them in APC will passionately work against Osinbajo to ensure Atiku wins.

They did it to GEJ in 2015!

SW is hoping to rally support for a Yoruba candidate by riding on anti fulani/Southern turn as a strategy but unfortunately, that won't be enough.

If elections are conducted today with those characters above as the contestants, PDP candidates will win overwhelmingly.

Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen and Bandits will kidnap all the people that will go out to vote in NW and NE. NC, SS and SW will vote for Osinbajo/Zulum. Only the votes of SE will count for Atiku/Obi. Osinbajo/Zulum wins.

Your info is wrong. PDP is going with Atiku/Okowa or Atiku/Udom this time. SE has lost out entirely as PDP is not comfortable with only two states in the zone.

Democracy is a process and not an event.

We need different kinds of sceneries to come up to test the dept and nature of our democracy.

However, anyone that has a good understanding of presidential elections in this country will know that the PDP is presently disadvantaged and will need a lot of political engineering in the next 12 months to be in a position to win the presidential election.

South will definitely lose out because of yoruba greediness.

Mark this post today, PDP will present Atiku/Obi ticket, I'm 100% sure of that!

Non of those men you mentioned can give PDP the sort of edge Peter Obi will give them, even if SE has only one or two PDP governors, it won't change anything.

Any Nigerian president can easily win a reelection or impose a chosen successor of his choice. The useless constitution makes this so. The president appoints the INEC chief, the police and military heads and even the Judges! Basically he can will the outcome of any important election to suit his whims. What he obviously can not do is to predict effectively thereafter, the reverberating consequences of his actions and how far those will go in destroying not just the government he imposed but the country in general. Buhari can do his worst! But be rest assured that Nigeria will paiy a heavy price as a consequence ..

Osibanjo can never win the SS because of the strong anti Yoruba sentiment caused by Yorubas campaign against Jonathan

BH that tactically withdrew so that election can hold in NE to aid Buhari against Jonathan.

SS will never vote Osibanjo or Tinubu because of Jonathan

The same way Yoruba voted fulani in 2015 against southern PDP candidate, is there anything wrong about voting fulani candidate that south west did not see in 2015?

Can Obi stop a sit at home on election day? Which edge exactly? The one he gave the last time?

You really don't understand how desperate the PDP has now become and how losing this election can put the final nail to their coffin.

Relax and enjoy as events unfold in the coming weeks.

Go over your number 3 point again and remember the last governorship election.

Only APC members will be allowed to vote in Lagos just as we did in the last governorship election in Lagos. And in fact that is what we will do in the whole South West.

You can go and get votes for Atikuchukwu in other regions.
Re: South Has Lost; How North Plans To Continue Ruling After Buhari by lokoloko84(m): 3:24pm On Sep 26, 2021
I do not care about other regions, but who told you,Osinbajo will win South west by a great margin.
Though,it is your opinion.
