I Am Trying To Build Muscles But I Am Still Loosing Weight by C505: 12:03pm On Sep 26, 2021
So my journey started earlier this year when i was weighing 87kg. Not fat though but bulky with protuding tummy which for health issues in latter years, I decided to engage myself in aerobics. Job's done. I have achieved that massive fat loss in 3months months and went from 87 to 78kg even though my target was 80kg.

Sadly for me, I have become lean from fat burning so I decided to re engage myself with some anaerobics to grow muscles instead of fat. But i notice yesterday, i dropped to 76 upon checking my weight. Hence, I need a gym station around ikeja to ogba axis with super heavy equipments like a tractor tyre or battle rope to workout less time

Any one with good ideas

Eat more (animal) protein to build muscles.

When you are building muscles, don't check the scale. The scale can be very deceptive. When you are adding muscles, you would know from how your clothes fit in. Once they become tight,too tight or they don't enter you anymore then there is progress. You might be adding muscles but also loosing water and shrinking of adipocytes, so in that situation your musclemass might not reflect on the scale.


Also do more of compound exercise like barbell press, deadlift, squats, pull ups etc.

Eat clean and add enough animal protein to your diet.

Those tractor tyres exercise should be an addendum or addition and not the main exercise. You must chop that iron to build muscles. Try to get your homemade gym equipments if you can't access a gym nearby. Locally made barbells with heavy flywheels as the plates.
