If you are going to church and somebody ask you to pray for him or her, do you actually remember to that? What about when you forgot to pray for the person, and the person then ask you if you prayed for him/her, what will be your response?

Most people don't remember to do that. Besides you don't need to get to church to pray for people. Most people ask for it religiously. And we accept religiously. It's more of a courtesy thing or the good religious feeling . But it not really spiritual. You don't just ask for prayers. If you want prayers, it must be specific. Those who ask for such prayers don't really have anything in mind. If you ask them "what should I pray about"? They don't really have anything specific. How can you pray without a purpose.
