20-10 draws close. It will be a one year remembrance of the #LekkiMassacre. I don't know what to make of it as the day closes. But I sense that a lot of emotions will run high that period.

One thing that comes to my mind a lot is that there are a lot of young Nigerians who came out to ask for a better country to live in. Who activated their constitutional rights to protest and demand from government and are languishing in Prisons close to a year. For no known crime in most cases.

This has shown that the federal government of the day is insensitive. The Judiciary as we know it is compromised. And the legislature that is drawn from amongst us do not have our best interest. There is still time for those of you that hold positions in these arms of government or are affiliated to them to take the right decisions in accordance of the law and do away with rascal and criminal acts to suppress the general populace. Free all innocent #ENDSARS protesters still in prison.

To every other of us that sensibly was against the brutality and oppression. I would ask you all not to forget those incarcerated and targeted by the system on trumped up charges for their part. They should be the focus of all. Let's make the upcoming #20.10.20 remembrance about those still held by the system. It could have been any of you in those cells. Imagine just asking the government to reign in their police and make them stop killing, extorting and harassing Nigerians and ending up in prison for a year for it. Injustice to one should be injustice to all.
