Please let's talk, Forumites.

So, I noticed that there's a growing number of Nigerians who call me to help them financially. Sometimes, it is so disappointing because you don't expect that those you hold in high esteem will be asking for financial support.

It gets worse when online borrowing services call me to complain that my friends, who borrowed money from them and used my name as surety without my consent, defaulted on their payback promises, pleading with me to talk to them.

If you look at Nigeria politically, the present administration keeps increasing its budget since its inception. Where money is not available, they borrow from China and other lending institutions to finance critical projects.

We have seen these projects across the country. This should ordinarily mean that money is circulating, but ordinary Nigerians seem to be complaining that they are broke.

Now, the question is, are people actually broke or faking it? Has this government made Nigerians poorer like international rating agencies say? Let's not try to make it poltiical here, as I want objective interactions. What do you think? From your personal perspective, do you feel poorer despite putting in a lot of efforts to grow financially?

Broke is an understatement bro

Just watch and see how this candid question you asked is going to be politicized...
