Dear All,

I got home yesterday evening and saw heaps of sand and gravel dropped just at the entrance of my gate by the house owner. I can't imagine someone could stoop this low to do this kinda thing. I got so furious and thought sth has to be done to address this madness. Can someone give an advice here?

House owner issued quit notices to tenants that are not owing rent (yearly) and expected tenants to leave within a period of 3 months.

What is the condition stated in your tenancy agreement? If you signed a tenancy agreement that states that you are entitled to 3 months notice to quit, then your landlord is right but if it states 6 months, then the landlord is wrong.

Go have a dialogue with you land lord about your inconveniences.

There is already a law on tenancy especially in Lagos which mandates for a minimum of six months quit notice and this law is superior to any fucking agreement signed
