how it works. for example CBN might keep 490 for importers while the regular rate is 570 so you you need a buisness account opened before 6moths with your operating bank to access the program, and only 20,000 usd transaction per buisness using BVN control policy can be made within 3months according to the CBN policies.

why the importers are looking for buisness accounts: more than 70 percent of the importers in Nigeria imports far more than 20,000 usd worth of goods within 3months, so they can only use other available buisness accounts to pay for their goods overseas.
