Good day Nairalanders, some time in 2019 i took a loan of 2000 naira from Branch Nigeria, few days to my repayment deadline I lost my phone.
On the 24th of may 2019, I got a call from one of branch Nigeria customer care representative asking why i was unable to pay and I told her that i lost my phone and she said that should not be a problem. That she noticed i was using GTBANK, which i said yes and she said I can actually pay my loan by dialing *737*50*2400*326# which i did and it confirmed that the short code belong to branch Nigeria.
Now is been more than 2years and I still get calls and text from branch Nigeria. I have explained myself to everyone of branch Nigeria customer care representative who has called me to ask why i haven't paid them. After i explain, they will ask me to send a mail to they which I have done times without number. each time I send them a mail they reply with this

"Thanks for contacting us.

The GT code that was used to make this payment was ones a payment channel on Branch, but not anymore.

We encourage you to contact your bank to find out the actual status of your repayment.

Branch Nigeria is asking me to go back to GTBank and ask for a refund.
At this point I want to take legal actions against them because I am really feed up

Bros the bank are going to refund you ur money....Just screenshot branch message and send a mail including the screenshot then u will get a refund...Simple....
