My language is Annang which is a variant of ibibio language.

The following words are the same with the same meaning:

1. CAN:

English: I CAN do it.
Annang/Ibibio: Mkpa CAN nnam, which means "I CAN do it" in English.

So CAN has the same pronunciation and meaning in English and Annang/Ibibio.

2. DUG:

English: I DUG a pit.
Annang/Ibibio: Amin DUG udi

So DUG has the same pronunciation and meaning in English and Annang/Ibibio.

Please share your own dialet words which has the same pronunciation and meaning as English words.

3. Antelope is pronounced as Edope in Annang/Ibibio.

4. DOOR:

English: Close the DOOR.
Annang/Ibibio: Kuk u DOOR
So DOOR has the same pronunciation and meaning in English and in Annang/Ibibio.

5.Eyen in Ibibio means Eye in English.But in Annang,it is pronounced Ayen which sounds like Eye.

Eye in English is pronounced as Ai which sounds like Ayen in Annang.


6.ME in English is AMI in Annang/Ibibio.

ME in English is pronounced as MI which sounds like AMI

Since human beings originated from one single man,it is expected that they should have some words that are the same, because when you migrate to another place, you will lose some of your original language although some words will still remain the same.

That explains why some words are the same.

Use a semi-colon “;”

Instead of a comma between “anymore” and “behave”.

Buahari

Buhari: in English means Failure, turn around.
Buhari in Igbo means turn around.
E.g Mu ga e Buhari Nigeria which means I will turn Nigeria around.
