Even with the employment rate in Nigeria, do you think Nigeria jobs will make you happy? Never!�

I keep saying it and everyone who has listened to me gets back to me later to be thankful for the counsel and advice I gave to them.

Here it goes; No matter what you're doing presently, if you think you haven't been earning enough like you want, it's time to go master an high income skill.

I repeat, go master an high income skill! 2022 won't be funny for you and it would even be more frustrating if you don't do this now.

The way out of being broke is not praying for a better job my dear brother, because the so called 'better job' you're praying for will not make you earn like you would do with an high income skill.

Affiliate marketing is an high income skill that you can keep learning regardless of what you're doing presently.

If you have a job at hand now, Affiliate Marketing is what you should be learning which you can see as a side hustle, and will invariably pay you a thousand times your present salary if you can master it.

Firstly when we say “The ability of sell” what does that even mean?

Like a friend asked me while we were driving on 3rd mainland bridge

“Boluwatife, I hear you and the Oga’s at the top say learn how to sell, learn how to sell” what does it even mean?

”I thought for sometimes and probably replied with“Being able to sell means to be able to convince, persuade, other people to take the desired action you want..”

It’s the closest thing to a super power–mind control

But then I got thinking

If I was to break down the art of selling to a 5 yr old, I would want to look at the components.. and in doing this, I realized

Knowing how to sell isn’t actually the most important skill

So let me explain.Let’s start with the question

What makes people buy?
Why do people buy things?
Anything at all?

Two answers

But before I answer,Have you seen the movie “Wolf of Wall Street?

”I loved that movie But Belfort “the wolf” always had a small role play he did

He’d pick up a pen look you in the face and say “Sell me this pen”And almost everyone started the same way–the wrong way

They all started with the pen

!Wrong!“This pen is an exquisite pen, blah blah blah blah”Wrong!Why?

Because when you want to sell anything to anyone

You need to understand

Why do people buy anything ?I have distilled two encompassing answers to this question.

People buy things because

1. Because they WANT IT (not need it)

2. Because they CAN AFFORD IT.

So a good salesman needs to dig deeper..Beyond the surface

Something that may not be clearly observable..Which is

This thing I’m about to sell.. what does it solve? Or why Do they want it?

The reason they want to buy it, is it a basic human need? Hunger, thirst etcSocietal?–status?Seasonal–types of clothes

Because the answer to this will help you understand the driving force in their decision making.

The reason people buy things is because they want to–it solves a pressing problem, it either helps them avoid pain, or achieve gain.

Makes them more money, saves them more money, time, stress, or gives them pleasure, security, status.

And lastly they can afford it.This means that, before you begin to persuade anyone to buy anything..You must know whether the person even wants what you’re selling

Because they just may not be your target audience..So the number 1 important skill in making money online is RESEARCH.

Knowing what the market wants, why they want, where they want it, which psychographics they fit, etc.

And if they can afford the product you’re offering.

Research is the boring 20% that brings the 80% result of any sales message. Research helps you say the right thing to the right audience at the right time in the right place.

Research gives you a bullseye precision of your market

And makes your message address their pain points.Only when you’ve done proper research then can you sell properly.

My N600k Per Month Income Plan

Back in 2012, I had a dream of moving to Lekki and improving my lifestyle.

So, I wrote down a list of what my expenses would be on a daily basis so I can have an idea of how much I have to make in a month to live the improved lifestyle I wanted.

The list went like this:

- 3 bedroom flat in Lekki - (N1.5m/yr or N4,200 daily)
- Toyota Camry – N2 Million or N5,480 daily
- Food and Domestics – N3,000 daily
- Wardrobe – N45k/month or N1500 daily
- Internet connection – N15k/month or N500 daily
- Fuel (petrol, gas and kerosene) – N1000 daily
- Books – N500 daily
- DSTV – N15k/month or N500 daily
- Savings/Anonymous - N3,000 daily

I approximated everything to N20,000 per day.

Which also meant I needed an income flow of N600,000 a month.

The only problem was my average income at the time was N300,000 per month.

So, what did I do?

I set up a new online business that added an extra N400,000 a month to my income.

The interesting part is that it only took me N40,000 and 2 weeks to set up this new business from my house on the Lagos mainland.

This new business was successful because I followed a simple and proven business blueprint.

This same blueprint was what I used to start another online business that made N700k in 5 days when I wanted to travel to Brazil for the 2014 world cup.
