Many Ministers in the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari have been alleged to go to their offices drunk on a daily basis. A source in the presidency told YeyeNews.com that the situation involves over 85% of the cabinet Ministers.

“Some are always on the news making outrageous statements and claims due to their drunken state. The press is aware of their drunkenness, but they have chosen silence. Others just sleep off in their office couch all day. These ones are hardly heard of because all they do is sleep, wake up and drink again”.

Another source who was an aide to a former Minister of sports confirm that his boss sometimes resumed office drunk as early as 7am. “I don’t know why they show up in that state, but I can confirm that it was widespread. I know most of the budget for meals and refreshments end up in purchase of expensive alcoholic beverages. So, they drink and spew nonsense. You remember when one of them said that ‘”Rice is expensive because Nigerians eat too much?’” A sober person will never utter that kind of statement.”
