Look at this helpless lunatic, are you comfortable asking your mom the same question you just asked me.

Silly kid !!!

Useless and stvpid bunch of hooligans and bandits, enemies of progress, bad news and incessant occurrence of uncertain events always give them hard on.

Good news is being circulated now they still want to use their bitterness and traumatized life to discredit the progress.

How can your life and your family life move forward, when you don't have any contribution for your country and can never appreciate a good news too...

Who saw the newly published list of the NYIF? It was 40% fulani and 40% yoruba. Then the remaining meagre 20% was left to be shared by the rest of hapless Nigerians.
That is the same way the other ones will go, the list be arranged before it will even see the light of day. They're empowering their people.

DeepSight:

Sincerely glad for the lady and other worthy beneficiaries nevertheless the harm to the system is infinitely greater than the relief individuals may derive. What is wrong is wrong. And until we get disciplined in this country, things will always be a mess.

You need to understand that this is not just illegal it is also an avenue for massive corruption. In the days of SLS the CBN was everywhere making donations to Schools (selected at its discretion) and leapfrogging many other MDAs in terms of their lawful functions. All of that was explained away by the smooth talking SLS as CSR. Any one who knows what CSR is knows that its strictly the province of private companies and that statutory organizations have no CSR remit whatsoever.

It is beyond illegal, it is sheer impunity, and even sheer madness.

A regulatory body must stick to its functions. Just imagine the Power Sector Regulatory body making donations to schools or hospitals or INEC intervening in Agriculture. Then you can picture just how insane such actions of the CBN really are.

It really amounts to forming a parallel government.

The question then becomes, who audits the CBN?

There should be an internal and external knowledgeable body that effectively call those in govt to book.

Unfortunately, govt has a way of shutting down activists and bodies like SERAP, AI and Co, perhaps because they do not have the legal backing to sue those in government and have them sacked for abuse of office.

Most of the internal workers are on the same table and are observing table manners.

Thank God for the anonymity of the internet, imagine this imbe-cile too has an opinion.

It'll only end with pictures of a few hand-picked people shaking the hands of some officials, and posing as beneficiaries.

Laudable project but with some constraints.

Are the graduates going to apply through the schools?

Repaying a GRANT; hope there is grace period for beta testing, launching and market penetration before we jump into profitability.

Where's the site or office to visit to access this fund?

Who are we pitching to and when?
Is there limit to the business idea...agro, tech, construction, med science etc?

Rating by 1st, 2nd, third is still technical.

Why not allocate a sum to the 36 states, and let them support like 20 businesses each, with a benchmark of 1-2million naira per project......

Too many blanks in this project mehn.

Please how do I get further info?
Does this not make more sense. Give 100 graduates 5million each or 300 graduates 1.5 million with mentorship. It’s dumbest intervention project ever.

Attempt to see good things sometimes in people's intention. You are building such a nasty culture if you continue along this path. Dont be a cynic. Don't always rejoice at every bad news and be saddened at every good news. Just an advice which I hope you will internalise.

if an average of 500k is to be shared then only 1000 persons will benefit. Some departments only from one school have more than that number

And this is very sustainable and monitored.

Every student would strive to be in the top tiers coz of the availability of start up grants and they can employ some of their set to kick-start the projects.

A win win for everyone and specialised practical experience- for some technical courses
