Afghanistan will shortly collapse into chaos unless the international community acts rapidly, Swedish and Pakistani ministers warned on Saturday.

Afghanistan plunged into crisis after the hardline Islamist Taliban movement drove out the Western-backed government in August triggering the abrupt end of billions of dollars in assistance to its aid-dependent economy.
"The country is on the brink of collapse and that collapse is coming faster than we thought," Swedish development minister Per Olsson Fridh told Reuters in Dubai.
He said economic freefall could provide an environment for terrorist groups to thrive, but that Sweden would not channel money through the Taliban, instead boosting its humanitarian contributions through Afghan civil society groups.

The Taliban promised the Qatari that they have changed and will accept human rights and all that if the Americans leave.. The Americans left. .. Immediately The Talibans got to power, they started demarcating classrooms to seperate men from women and basically started removing the womenfolk from the workforce.
When you remove half of the population from any meaningful engagement with the modern society and direct they go to the kitchen, you are more or else turning your country back to cave existence....,

They are now stuck! No serious reserves. Enemies breathing down their neck. Most professionals have ran away because of The Talibans strict religious demands... It's now left for The Talibans to wave the magic wand and produce results. They basically have to get their bearded mullahs and soldiers to work, produce and earn money for the nation based on their mujahideen ideologies. You can't be good at receiving handouts from saner societies, but will behead anyone that dares to live by the standards of the same people that keep your country running through aids and handouts..

The Talibans like most other 'revolutionaires' have no training and experience in the art of governance, especially in rebuilding a resource poor country like Afghanistan.

Propagating religious ideologies on it's own can't solve any problem in the 21st century.

Who remembers where Bin Laden was killed? Inside same Pakistan not far from a military base.

America spent the last 40 years fighting other people’s fight while their real adversaries developed their own. Now America is being threatened by china, north korea, iran and russia.

Any country that wants to send money to taliban is free to but i am sure one dollar from usa won’t enter there.

Season one will end soon. The real film starts in season 2 when taliban becomes another north korea

Now Pakistan will feel the brunt of the whole mess. That's a good reward for their tacit and other support to the Taliban

This goes to show that Religious Ideology has little or no economic value in this modern world.
