I'm not an engineer but I'm interested in forging (especially for rockets and cylinders) I read an article that before the forging methods you need to have accurate sizing (length, width, height) in order to accurately apply different forging methods available. I wonder if how engineers somehow use the tools you mentioned below for planning out designs for lets cylinders for oil, gas, and hydrogen... or do you guys use AutoCAD for these bigger projects?
