Start with that.

I’m not saying I’d be thrilled at my son dressing like a puff but that’s only because “cross-dressing” in a modern sense is usually done on the basis of weak sentimentality and I’m not about that. Never have been. But clothes aren’t inherently masculine or feminine. Only the bra is (and even then some men have moobs because of being overweight/having certain medical conditions). Everything else is just a matter of social conditioning and that’s something that changes by the era in history and culture. In certain Eastern (not even western, before you start shouting westernisation and being whitewashed) cultures esteem trousers for the female sex alone. It’s literally women who wear the trousers in those countries (traditionally) while the men wear the wrappers and that makes the most sense functionally. No-one outside of horseback riders were ever intended to wear trousers, at least not in warm climates. So trying to gender clothing according to 1950s white-man ideals (and the ideals before then were different as well, so where do you draw the line?) is nonsense. Women are not going to hell for wearing trousers. Men aren’t going to hell for decorating themselves with a bit of lingerie and pantyhose if that’s what gets them hard. Half of the time no-one sees it anyway.
