Nigeria and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen says he is looking for a girlfriend that would test his loyalty with her friend.

The 22-year-old who is not known to be romantically involved with any woman, is probably looking to test the patience and perseverance of his prospective girlfriend, a trial not many women would like to undergo.

The former Lille super star has shared this thought in a post on his Instagram page, as he probably thinks of settling down after ensuring his mother and siblings had a good life after experiencing rough patches in Lagos, Nigeria.

“Na girlfriend way go use her friend test my loyalty I dey find now,” stated the Super Eagles striker who in September 2020 signed a contract with Napoli that nets him a whopping salary of €5 million (£4.6 million) per year.

Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille last summer for €70 million, making him their record signing. He hit the ground running with the Azzurri before being pegged back by coronavirus and a shoulder injury.

Despite those setbacks, the former Wolfsburg and Sporting Charleroi player scored 10 goals last season. He has been firing on all cylinders this term, making him arguably the most popular player in the Italian top flight.

Women are obviously drooling over him, but despite his popularity, romance is an aspect of life Osimhen has yet to exploit. There are unconfirmed reports by newspapers in Italy that the player is living with his girlfriend Stephanie in Naples.

Nothing of such is reflected on the player’s social media handles, which suggest he is either not involved in any romantic relationship or keeping his private life away from public glare like some icons do.

Meanwhile, Osimhen has returned to training with Napoli after missing weekend’s Serie A trip to Salernitana due to injury.

He trained separately from the rest of the players as the team resumed training on Tuesday at the SSC Napoli Konami Training Center, preparatory to Thursday’s UEFA Europa League match game week 4 against Legia Warsaw in Poland.
