A friend of mine collected loan from all this loaning apps and he is yet to pay and it seems like he put my name and contact as a relative.

So this loaning people called like last month about his default. I called the guy and told him to pay them. He said he would.

Only for me to receive a call today from them saying that they would block his bvn bla bla.
It only became my concern when they said I would be affected because I was a guarantor.

Guarantor that didn't sign or didn't even know about it.

Should I take a legal action against them or what? Do you guys suggest

They are only trying to pressurize you so you transfer the pressure to the guy...

In any case be careful of dealing or hanging around people who default on loans... most times it implies that they are self centered and not trust-worthy
