Wrong! God never said a man can only marry one women,nor did He say a woman can only marry one man. Instead, God said, this in Genesis 2 vs 24 and again in Matthew 19 vs 5

And God said, ‘That is why a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife. And the two people will become one.’
6 So they are no longer two, but one. God has joined them together, so no one should separate them.” - Matthew 19 vs 5

A marriage is a contract agreement between a man and a woman .... that is essentially what God said. Not that monogamy is the only way.

The same God went on to give multiple wives to His servants aka polygamy or more than one marriage.
And the same also taught that even no marriage is also acceptable..I.e. you can chose to remain single as well.
