Some great points. But it was fundamentally the European adoption of 'gunpowder' - a native Chinese mixture traditionally used in festivals for fireworks, which the Europeans then used to build firearms, which led to their military conquest of the whole world, not just Africa.

Were these Moors Nigerians? Capital NO.

Moors were Arabs/Berbers from Northern Africa (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya etc). Their name "Moors" is derived from Morocco, their main origin.

The Moors southernmost extension at their peak was Mali/Niger.


There was no Islam in Nigeria in the 1100s and we all know Islam was introduced to Nigeria around 1500s by Dan Fodio, so how were Moors Nigerians??
