Just this morning, I bought 12.5kg of cooking gas for N8500 at a filling station at Amuwo Odofin. Sometime early October, I bought the same gas for N6500. That means between first week of October and this week of November, gas increased by 76.5%. Now that's a crisis.

From the empathetic side of me, a lot of people can't afford this and I feel so bad for them. It's terrible again when you consider that Nigeria has an abundance of natural gas.

But from the other side of me, I see immense opportunities for entrepreneurs; this is a genuine problem that requires a solution.

Massive breakthroughs are made in time of crisis, great discoveries come with initial crisis. Some people will never be great in life until crisis strike and they key into it to create great solutions.

While we figure out a solution out of this gas crisis, what other reliable and sustainable alternatives can be used in place of LPG in the home?

It shouldn't shock you! How do you expect to "manage" the gas.

Guy, alternative is just the charcoal! But it is not for the "rich".
