My intention is to buy, fix it and resell. It's a first body.

You wouldn't get much out of this business. How much do you think it'd cost if it has no gear issues and it's cleaner than how it looks now? It wouldn't be more than 750 or 800k.

So, assuming you'd spend 200k to change the gear, fix other undeclared issues and paint it, the overall cost will be over 700k, and you might not get buyer instantly.

Remember, this is a 1999 car.

Sir, I learnt the vehicle is good for transportation. You think those in the transport industry can buy it up 900k after I fix all the issues?

I cannot confidently confirm that sha. As I said earlier, there might be other undeclared issues within the engine, so you might end up spending more.

Not a good deal at 500k. if the repair was straightforward, owner will fix and sell for 850k thereabout.

If you buy 500k, Gear 180k Workmanship 20k, tow to repair shop 10k, misc 50k. Thats like 760k.

and you sell 800k...40k profit too small for the investment and risk involved.

Try negotiate 350k

500k is okay although u can still negotiate further.
U can buy for 500k, fix with about 200k-250k and sell for at least 900k. Its a Toyota and a van at that so it still has good second hand value. I think u can make btw 150-250k profit on this car.
