In the past two months, I have been receiving disturbing call from a specific number, 018887857. The call is a one way call, meaning it is pre- recorded. So I couldn't respond to it, neither can I send SMS to it. It claimed to come from Air Credit. That I should prevail upon one Jackson (can't really pick the surname) who is indebted to them, that I stood as a guarantor. It threatened I would be liable to pay up the loan should the person failed to pay. The worrisome part is that I don't know that Jackson from any Adam. I did not stand as guarantor for any body who took loans. Or is it possible to shave a person's hair on their behalf? I am kind of worrying because I don't want to wake up with alert that the small Kobo Kobo I have in my account has been taken by some faceless loan company. Has anyone experienced this? Any advice on how I can handle this? |

This is deep. Have you at anytime released your account details to anyone claiming they want to assist you with soft government loans? |

My point is that it is either the message was sent in error or someone has supplied your details as a guarantor for a loan without preinforming you. Scammers are everywhere. Of recent, people are trooping to the banks with complains of illegal transfer from their accounts. We should not supply our account details to every dick and Harry, especially the BVN. Passionnn: Blacklist the number or record the voice and report to the nearest police station. Maybe someone has deceitfully used your number to stand as surety for another. If you're married, pls move some cash in your account to your spouse's account. Avoid night movements for now. Just be very careful. 3 Likes |

Someone who has ur number on his contact list has taken a loan and gone awol,they can't reach him for payment and decided to get to him through his contacts he granted them permission to access during application. Don't take them serious,they can't do nothing. 15 Likes |

It claimed to come from Air Credit.OP, the loan app contacting you is 'LCredit' and not 'Air Credit'. Reach out to their customer care number and make your complaints, while also making them know you didn't take any loan from them or stand as a guarantor for anyone, so they shouldn't touch any money in your bank account. PointZerom:Check very well,one of your contacts bears that name.I had similar alert and i summoned the young man warned to stop embarrassing his family any more with those stupid loan.He said actully he is not indebted bbut has more credit in his account with the app! |

Passionnn:Same with me too, they just keep pestering me to get in touch with a guy I last saw in 2008 like I was informed when they were giving out the loan to him. Best you can do is to ignore the calls and texts. You didn't take the loan from me so they can go fucck themselves.... 3 Likes |

ChiefSosa: Thanks. I tried to Google both. Discovered there's both L Credit and Air credit. L credit is Nigeria based while air credit is based in Kenya. You are right. L Credit is the most likely company. I've also copied their customer care number. Shall call them later |

Same here. They keep calling and threatening me. Each time I block the number, they come up with another serial phone number. I have blocked so many of their numbers. 1 Like

naso one strange number call me some months ago, saying certain nike used me as a guarantor to seek loan from them, that if i dont get her to pay they ill institute legal actions against the nike and me  i asked them, when she gave you my number as a guarantor or what ever, did you call me to confirm if i know her, if i can stand as the guarantor etc, so why are you calling me now. na swear i swear for them las las 1 Like |
