PHOTOS: EKSU VC’s son graduates from Oxford University

A son to Edward Olanipekun, the vice-chancellor at the Ekiti State University (EKSU), has graduated from the University of Oxford.

Oxford varsity in the United Kingdom is regarded as one of the leading academic institutions in the world.

Tom Olanipekun, a relative of the family, took to social media to share photos from the graduation ceremony in the UK.

Olanipekun became the VC of EKSU after Kayode Fayemi, the Ekiti state governor, approved his appointment in 2019.

He is a professor of chemistry and a former dean, school of post graduate studies of the varsity.

Reminder : Non of Buhari's children schooled in Nigeria and he doesn't hide it so this is not a new thing even though it isn't what is expected from a leader

Imagine, you made your son school abroad to get "quality education" while he is coordinating the affairs of a state school here.

Oxford university is x2 more prestigious than any university in Nigeria.

what they intend saying is, while he preside over a school in Nigeria as a vice chancellor, his son is schooling in one of the best universities in the world..
I.e, he doesn't belive in the education system he is part of.
