Hello naira landers please I have a pressing issue at hand. I am a corp member. I started serving in September. I was initially a lagos corper but relocated because I got married. I relocated to Abuja and was posted to a place that is quite a distance from my house. I complained to my head at my PPA asking him to please give me a rejection letter so I could facilitate my reposting to a closer place but he refused. I have been pleading with him for a rejection but he has been continuously refusing because according to him the minister of the FCT asked him to never reject a corp member because it's a general hospital. I studied biochemistry and I have nothing to do in the hospital. I have tried facilitating reposting from the nysc secratariat but they keep insisting I must be rejected before I can be reposted. I have also tried to reason with the head of my PPA to reduce the number of days I will come to work in a week and he has refused to agree with me on anything. He said I must work everyday. I have been asked to start work on Friday. I need help as to how I can go about this issue. Can I apply for exemption after I have already started serving?. I am hoping to get pregnant anytime soon and going such a distance on a daily basis while pregnant all year round would be very difficult for me. The financial implications is also too much for me. All efforts I have made so far from all angles have been futile. Please what else can I do. Please I would appreciate if this is moved to front page for more views as I have little or no time to do whatever I have to do. |

I feel you should talk to your LGI about it, perhaps something can be done who knows. |
