So I was inside my room this hot afternoon working and I was hearing the noise coming from the sitting room, my mum asking my younger to hit the head! Hit it well with the bottom of the broom!! It's not dead yet!!! In my mind I thought it was a rat, but something else was different, the assault was taking longer than usual. So I abandoned what I was doing to go check what was going on and just as I feared it turned out to be a snake.

I was shocked cos no one would expect to see a snake around since we didn't have any bush in the compound (but the next compound do). My brother said he was on his phone when he just heard something drop from up (it dropped from the top of the door leading into the passage) looked in that direction and saw it was a snake. The nearest thing he could lay his hands on was the broom which he used in killing it. My mum sprinkled salt on it which I didn't think had any effect on it all. Afterwards we took it outside and burned it.

Everyone should be careful and be watchful of their surroundings this season.

Lol. We just wanted to make sure the snaked died since the broom didn't kill it at once. And for the poor picture quality, I couldn't go very close to it

Some years back when I was still in secondary, we came home and met a snake inside the house. After killing it, we decided to ransack every corner of the entire house and ended up killing about 2 or 3 more.

Yeah we used petrol before the salt. And then when we took it outside we added more petrol and burned it. It actually went loco
