As a Startup enthusiast, I love researching about startups, especially in Africa; their founders; who is doing what and the latest news in the startup eco system.

I am going to make this a series, just to share knowledge, and get someone inspired, and today we will be starting with Adama J. Adama because 3 of his startups have been in the news recently.

So, here we go.

1. He is the Managing Director of the Ooni of Ife’s Royal African Farms (He was appointed by His Imperial Majesty (H.I.M), the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi on July 4th 2021 (https://gazettengr.com/farm4me-boss-adama-j-adama-appointed-md-of-ooni-of-ifes-royal-african-farm/, https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/07/why-we-appointed-adama-j-adama-as-the-md-of-royal-african-farm-royal-court-of-ife/).

2. Adama is a graduate of Zenith University, Ghana.

3. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) Nigeria and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).

4. He has been an active entrepreneur since 2007 with his first business known as Genius Planet. He was a pioneer of Bulk SMS Marketing service in Benue state, under the umbrella of Genius Planet.

5. His nickname is ISP – which means Ideas and Solutions Provider. His friends fondly call him that, and that name is indeed a depiction of who Adama is because you can’t meet him without hearing a new idea or solution to challenges. No wonder he has founded and runs 5 successful Startups across different industries and sectors.

6. One of his Startups, Farm4Me was awarded West Africa's Best World-Class Digital Agricultural Investment Platform Brand of the Year 2021 by the Institute of Brand Management of Nigeria.

7. His company, Farm4Me was also awarded Africa's Leading Quality Farm Equipment Sales and Rental Service Provider of the Year 2021 by the World Quality Institute.

8. Adama is the Chairman and CEO of Enadama Group, a conglomerate that invests in Agriculture, Finance, Technology, Education, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Media & Logistics, Construction and Engineering, and it is the parent company of Ceepass Digital Bank; Farm4Me (an Agritech and Digital Agriculture Investment Company); Eliaversity (an Online learning platform); Viable X (an Online Commodity Trading Platform); MedCity (an Online Healthcare Service Provider); and Lasting Infrastructure Limited (an Engineering and Construction Company).

9. Adama J. Adama worked briefly with the CBN Entrepreneurship Development Centre, North Central Zone, Makurdi, Benue State.

10. Adama is presently pursuing his MBA with the University of Chichester, UK.

So, that's a brief about Adama J. Adama, the ISP.
