Itohanmiwa:
Nice initiative from this Buhari administration. Those who get lucky to be among those selected should do so diligently, while haters continue to complain as usual. Digital economy or crypto is the next big thing.

so what is the benefit of the program to the teachers? is it tht they will get laptop or they will be computer literate?

So they can be watching film with it abi?
ThinkSmarter:
It is a good development, but how will teachers in rural areas be able to charge the laptops?
I suggest you pilot the scheme with urban teachers 1st.
i suggest the government should start equiping students in the higher institutions or corp members with laptops after fuel subsidy removal

1.Where will teachers be using the laptops,at school ir at home since they will pay for it?.2.How will the laptops be powered ?
3.N power beneficiaries were given tablets to enhance their services, why can't teachers be treated the same way?
4.How will u expect a teacher to use her personal laptop she paid for with her meager salary in teaching the students at school when it is the the duty of Ministry of Education to do so,as well as provide electricity at school for powering the systems?
5.If d laptops are for teachers personal use,of What benefits are they to learners?
Emeka Nwajiuba, these questions are food for thought to u,or else, the exercise will be viewed as a mere extortion of teachers in collaboration with laptop vendors for personal gain without having the interest of students at heart.

The time stipulated for paying back the laptop. Two - Four years. If you're salary is ok, even to get a car it's too dam long. Perfect the salary of people teaching tomorrow's leaders....

God help 9ja

Why can't the FG give the laptops to teachers for free, is it not ultimately for the benefit of the country.
