I went to the Nigerian embassy in Brazil to renew my Nigerian passport, (for the last time) lol. I was new then so I was listening more, we had many guys that came in from outside Brazil to renew their passports, a guy came in from Chile and some from Sao Paulo and from other parts of Brazil and we were all gisting about Nigerian issues and everything going on in Nigeria. I was asking the guy from Sao Paulo some questions about brazil because he has been in Brazil for more than 4 years. He said don't listen to people they would tell you Brazil is this and that, don't listen to them and he told me Brazil is a country with human rights and and the rule of law and he painted a very good picture of Brazil and he even told me a Brazilian accommodated and helped him when he first arrived in Brazil. What the guy told me was so true when I arrive in Brazil I heard so many scary stories from Nigerians about brazil but look at me today, I understand everything about this wonderful country and its simple do your thing and mind your business, everything I was told about brazil was not true. Whenever you land in a new country there are people that would try to discourage you and again it all depends on your click, a Nigerian told me I can't find a teaching job(for selfish reasons) and my other Nigerian friend was willing to hook me up with a teaching job so you see it depends on your click, you can listen to different opinions from Nigerians but follow your heart. https://www.walkbrazil4k.com/2021/11/the-conversation-i-had-with-guy-at.html?m=1 4 Likes |

True! All based on the person willing to do deeper research before traveling to the country. 3 Likes |
