I was going through the Internet today when I came across how a friend was so jealous of her friend getting married that she did all even going to Diabolical means to end the relationship. this thing got me thinking about why a friend (best ) would be that jealous to go that far , aren’t we meant to share in each other happiness. In this times we got to be watchful of who we call friend .

I’ll like to hear from people here who have gone through something similar or worst please share your experience with us so we can learn from it .

Thank God I don't have female friends

I remember having a roommate who I loved like a brother. We were quite close and do almost everything together:we'd eat from the same plate; drink from the same cup (please we aren't gay, okay) and even lie on the same bed. At that time, we were pretty cool with each other .

But all that changed when I got a teaching job from a nearby school, and my roommate's attitude towards me became unbearable: he would get angry for no reason, sometimes he would become aggresive if I asked about his wellbeing, and sometimes he would often bring illogical arguments that were quite petty all to make me look like the villain and him the victims.

To cut the long story short , we had a heated arguement one day, and that forced me to tell him he was no longer welcomed in my house, and I told him I wanted him out before I got back home . He willingly agreed, and assured me he'd drop the keys under the carpet once he's packed and ready to go . But little did I know that he had something up his sleeves.

Anyway, so I came back in the evening, and as I approached my house , I noticed the security lights outside were turned off, and this didn't seem right , because I always turn on the outside lights before leaving each morning .

I said to myself ," maybe Alex forgot and turned them off ; I'd better go inside and put them back on " . As I was about to touch the metallic door , something prompted me to look up , and behold, the live-wire that was responsible for supplying current into my house was attached to the doorknob. As I saw this , I was shocked and only one question came to my mind : " Alex , do you hate me this much that you are willing to end my life ?"

I was shaken , and the next day I reported the matter to my neighbors, but they told me to let it slide as God had done a miracle for me . This taught me a valuable lesson about people called " friends"

I remembered when i was still an undergraduate, i had this friend dammy met her when i went to buy fufu and thats how we became friends, we became so close that i started talking her into going to school, she didnt finish secondary school and i talked her into writting her waec and going to poly, she agreed i even helped her with some money too to purchase the form and register for it, when waec started my friend will be sleeping at homr i will be the one to force her to go, i sometimes abandon my own class to follow her to her center, sometimes i beg people to write for her as well,when results came out she passed and registered for poly, i was having this relationship issue that time with my then ex, asin fresh heartbreak, called my friend and told her, she introduced me to this guy, not knowing she planned with the guy, telling him nonesense about me and how my boyfriend broke up with me, long story short this same friend was the one going around telling people i snatched her man, that i am evil, still went to the guy's elder brothers, sisters and family to say nonesense about me, and she will still come to console me.she was very bitter .later i found out everything and how she has been going from church to church to do different stuffs on me spiritually which bounced back on her...the guy too did more harm than good and made me almost commit sucide if not for God's intervention since then i stopped having friends or even relationship because the experience and trauma was too much for me... I am over it now

This is my exact experience this year and I'm still shaken by such level of betrayal of trust. And to think she was one person I loved genuinely and coming to the realization of her person when it was so late really hurt me.

She would constantly call and ask about my relationship just to know if the things she did have worked well and I, in my goodly innocence took this as love and care. When my ex would break up with me, she was the first person I told because it was a really long time relationship. And this lady would pray and cry with me as if she is the only one with direct access to God.

It's very unfortunate that I'm not even her only victim and I don't want to start revealing too much here. She really dealt with me before God just decided to have mercy on me.

This is so true. They will bad mouth others to make you feel good especially when they are telling you the person did them bad. But, once you see beyond the facade, those things will not move you, rather it will open your eyes to the true nature of that's person.

Imagine telling me bitterly that your friends are bad and you won't have anything to do with them again only for the script to change completely midway.

I don't even know why people get envious or jealous when you don't know who will help you or your generation to come. It's unthinkable that you don't want something good happen to your friend but you are okay if it falls into the hands of another.

I remember a friend of mine in my circle of friends wet back in school. Two years down the line, just two years, I ran into him again and we start to dey vibe again like before.
