A Nigerian lawyer identified as Francis Saint Paul has melted hearts online after he helped freed a man wrongly accused of kidnapping. According to him, he met the man 3years ago while he was praying the rosary in prison. The man told him of his ordeal and he promised to help free him. Below is what he wrote....

'I went to the Magistrate court 3years ago to get a date and I saw this young man. He was crying and praying the rosary. I went and sat beside him and asked him why he was crying.
He kept on saying "I didn't do it, I didn't do it". He was remanded by the Magistrate on a count of kidnap and other related offenses. No complainant.

He told me his story. I believed him. I told him I'd take it up on pro bono. He laid there and started praying for me. I pushed for his matter to be charged at the High Court.
Today the 29th of November,2021, the Judge of the High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has confirmed he didn't do it and has declared him innocent. Discharged and Acquitted.

It can only be God. For the sake of God and Humanity'

So many innocent souls are helplessly languishing in our prisons with no hope in sight.

If not God, this one would have rust in jail. Imagine how many souls are facing same ordeals

Even if he did do it, the Nigerian police will almost always never have enough evidence to convict anybody. That's why they're usually not in a hurry to take their suspects to court.

Job well done Mr lawyer. Whatever payment you forfeited in this pro bono case I'm sure you will get times hundred from this free advert.

Dozens of people awaiting trial, some for the crime they didn't commit.
