Cr7 is just an upgraded Didier Drogba who knows nothing aside scoring which is a good thing, but Messi is special because he scores alot of goals, provide assists, create chances, produce more through balls, produce more dribbles. he is just too much, and sometimes I wonder if Messi is a striker or he is a midfielder because no midfielder passes or creates more chances or through balls than him, yet that same Messi is the only player to win 6 European golden shoes(no striker dead or alive has ever done that, his nearest competitor has 4)

Yep. That's the reason united appointed him as their manager. He was the most sort after coach at that time due to what he achieved with a Mid table team.

At united he finished 11th, 2nd and 12th in his first 3 seasons and there were talks of him getting sacked but he had leverage due to his achievements at Aberdeen.
A few years later he won the EPL and the rest was history.

It was at United that he became a legend, but he was already Elite level prior to that.
