I saw an interesting question somewhere and I’m curious about what the answers will be.

“I have a hypothetical question for anyone who believes in heaven and hell!

Let’s imagine that you find yourself at the gates of heaven and find out that your religion was correct. The only difference is that the devil and his demon pals defeated god and the angels and now the devil controls heaven and god is sent to hell along with all of his followers. Lucky for you the devil gives you a chance to join the winning team in heaven. All you have to do is renounce god and bend the knee to the devil. If you do not you will be sent to burn in hell fire.

What do you do?

We have read of things such as war in heaven, Satan/Lucifer/devil/shaitan thrown out of heaven, struggle between good and evil, the gates of heaven (guarding against the invaders from hell?) etc.
There’s also the theological concern about the “problem of evil”. In light of these, the question should have more answers. Don’t be shy guys. No judgement.

Well to be frank if God is a consuming fire what is the need fearing my Father who is fire? I think all I have to do and thrive to become is like fire too, that way, hell would be like heaven which is obviously a state of mind....If anyone is fire, Freeze would like to do anything and whatever it takes in the name of Good to be like fire, afterall, God is everywhere whether OP asked or not, He is everywhere...Fire is actually good

The gate of hell refers to the Broadgate which Jesus Christ described as a gate into the Kingdom of God that leads to an end in Eternal damnation. The gate of Heaven is the Narrow gate which leads to eternal reward at the end - Matthew 7 vs 13 - 14 & Luke 13 vs 22 - 20 . These are gates one can only gain access to from right here on earth, when one becomes born-again, and the moment one does, one is aware of it.

According to God, and Jesus Christ, perfection means living one's life in continuous acceptance/submission to and obedience to the teachings and commandments of God. So for one who believes in Jesus Christ, it means hearing the teachings and commandments and doing them all, every moment of every day of one's life, all almost 100 of them.

Lately I have a notion, which is, if we must follow God then we can live with Him anywhere but we would be comfortable, be it heaven or hell, if God says follow me, then I am certain He will not deceive me...In a community that is like paradise on Earth there is a possibility there two groups of people good and bad, and if God's will be done on Earth as it is in heaven I am not gonna be surprised if there are bad guys there too, I may be wrong just my thoughts though...I believe when one is PERFECT in love you can live anywhere and still be comfortable, though I walk through the valley of death I shall fear no evil, though I see fire, not tempting God though but peradventure I am faced with a situation that fire is involved if indeed I am God's child nothing will happen to me...Remember Shedrach, Mishack and Adednego?
