There is this trend going on where internet fraudsters buy a phone a scam with it till the IP address gets flagged by some platforms then they sell off the phones to unsuspecting buyers. The new owners will now start having trouble with logging into those platforms or getting their accounts banned. Please let's be careful and check any device well before buying. For example, you can try creating a new account on the devices to see the reaction before you pay. Just my two cents.

Your 2 cents dont count here because even if your ip is blacklisted. They most times dont get to disable your account immediately, but few hours or days later.

You rather advice them to always buy new gadgets and devices. Not fairly used, expecialy from Nigeria. Nowadays even the Nigerian used are refurbished and called London used".

That is the truth.Before you buy a phone make sure that Facebook,whatapps,and Instagram accounts are active.Theae are the 3 social media accounts that scammers use.

Ip block is the least you can worry about on a used phone.

so good folks, if your money is not worth a new device, gladly buy a uk used instead of that "cheap and affordable scam" that is from china but loathed by the chinese. I meant that silly scam brand that abuse helio p22 and helio G70. The brand those silly hungry bunches are marketing over here.

Anytime any day. I bought a used s10e off ebay after going through hell with one stupid camon cm and my life have never been the same. Phone dey oo. In my opinion it is better to get a used flagship from a good brand than a new midranger from cheap brands. I repair phones for a living so I see the evils of cheap phones first hand. Transsion markets aggressively and employs incentives for dealers who sell more of their devices who then try as much as possible to make their customers buy transsion phones above others. For all I know their midrange and budget offerings are subpar and not worth it. If you must buy transsion, buy their high end devices.

Another trending scam in used phone is that some of these scammer sellers buy phones on part payment basis from companies and sell after a few weeks later, thereby passing the debt to the new buyer, who is left with no other option than to balance the credit facility or the phone get locked up by the company that sold the phone .
Another scam I read on Facebook group today is that of a guy who bought a used phone, unknown to him the scammer sellers had taken a loan on palm credit and now the new buyer is now being harassed as contacts on his phone are being sent all these embarrassing messages ( what I don't understand is how the scammer managed to pass the palmoay loan to the new buyer)
