I don’t know how it started, but this self entitlement attitude of many veteran artistes in this country needs to be put in check. You made money by entertaining us and got paid for it then, and still want us to keep paying for it long after! Didn’t u educate ur kids when u were making the money? How many protégés did u mentor?? Why should ur personal problem become a national issue?? What has ur own guild done about helping u The younger entertainers can feature u in a movie or musical and small thing go reach u. But if na us, we too need help with the 'Lanister' in Aso Rock, biko! angry

Again?? Na wa o.
Fadeyi Oloro is a legend! It's crazy that most of our actors and actresses that are actually dedicated and passionate about the art are the ones that always seek funds like this, and are most times abandoned till they die.
If Fadeyi dies today, you'll see many people posting condolence messages on Social media and even spending huge money for his burial. I go see if I fit find am something.

You should have stopped your rants at the bolded.
He simply asked for some donations because he's down on his luck, he didn't put a gun to your head to give him money.
Now, let's put on our thinking caps. Are you aware that some of these veteran actors are LEGALLY entitled to some money you have? Those times you were buying their movies that got pirated, didn't you know you were indirectly stealing money from those veteran actors? Didn't you know you were indirectly collecting food from their tables? They lose billions of naira each year. Those actors have the right to sue you and those criminals that pirate movies. They are legally allowed to sue and jail those that pirated their movies and those that bought pirated movies. Pirating and purchasing any pirated movie is a criminal offence that carried heavy fines. Actors literally put these warning at the beginning of their movies, but Nigerians still don't take them serious.

You made money by entertaining us and got paid for it then, and still want us to keep paying for it long after!
MOST of our veteran actors made little to no money while acting. Most of them did it simply for the passion and to entertain people like you, that have now grown up to talk down on them. All those olden days you were sending your junior brother to go downstairs to position the Antenna, and he'll be shouting 'e don show?' and you'll be upstairs shouting 'e never show' or 'e don show', didn't you know you were consuming their movies free of charge? Did you pay?
Didn’t u educate ur kids when u were making the money? How many protégés did u mentor??
These veterans played a role in molding today's talents. If they gave up then, who then will motivate the newer people? Most acts of nowadays are purely based off what these veterans came up with!

Why should ur personal problem become a national issue??
When these veterans was entertaining the nation, you didn't ask why? But, since they have problems, you're now casting them away. Mr. Fadeyi oloro is down on his luck. Na condition make crayfish bend.
What has ur own guild done about helping u
Now, you're asking a real and sensible questions. Attaboy!!
The younger entertainers can feature u in a movie or musical and small thing go reach u.
Sure! But, if you and I have something, then we can assist him. If you don't, then offer some prayers or call to offer some words of encouragement. If you can't, then kindly leave the old man alone.
