Listening to the tales of an Abuja teacher in one of these rich schools.

Should I thread ?
Child to teacher: You broke and ugly teacher.

Teacher: how can you call anyone ugly when you look like this.

Parents: storms school to say their child was bullied by a teacher who lacked self-control

School: suspends teacher.

Child went around school harassing teachers that none of them should try him because none of them would have a salary without him.

School apologized to teacher behind the scene saying they have to pamper rich parents.

Teacher resigns.
2nd case:

14-year old sexually harasses male teacher. She goes to the teacher when he’s alone and pulls up her skirt (without panties)

Teacher reports to mgt.

Mgt: it’s because you didn’t comport yourself. These kids are from the UK/US where it’s normal.

3rd case:

Student comes to school with 200,000 naira to buy pizza on pizza day. The school had mandated that no child brings more than 5,000.

Teacher in a frenzy trying to call her parents to report the situation. Parents did not respond.
Student insists she didn’t steal it.
Other parents called the following day to say they gave their kids 50,000 but their kids felt inferior because someone brought 200,000.

Child’s father eventually responded to school’s call and said it’s part of the child’s allowance.

200,000 naira for .
4th case:

School has a policy against mobile phones in school. Kids come with the latest iPhone all the same. Teacher has iPhone 6.

Parents storm the school the following day: we caught our 11-year old watching porn at home and we believe it’s because you didn’t do your job.

Teacher: excuse me?
Parents: yes, he said he downloaded porn in school and we believe that’s because you didn’t put a firewall on the school’s wifi to block out porn.

Teacher: we have a policy against phones in school.

Child: I hid the phone in my groin.

Teacher: we search their bags only. If we searched their groins, you’d sue us for harassment. Besides, apple protects a child from adult content when a phone is set up for a child. Did you discipline him?

Parents: No

Teacher: You saw him watching porn but did not address it?

Parents: erm…we decided to report it to you because you’re their mother in school.

Teacher: I’m a teacher to 47 children. I teach physics. I’m not the sex education teacher and I’m not their parent. You shouldn’t allow 12hours go by before disciplining a child less than 18.
Parents: dumbfounded.
