If there is true federalism, every State in the Niger Delta should be able to meet up with the required fundings.

I really dont know why southern states arent pushing for this. It is the way forward and even north will benefit from it.

So proud of my state.

Lagos and Rivers funding their budgets is not unexpected considering their statuses but my state which has no grounds to and yet can fund its budget shows we have good leadership.

Anambra amaka biko.

Our supreme court governor is busy praising Buhari for leading him and his godforsaken family right, not Nigerians like he claimed. Amadioha will soon kill the bleaching idiot since HIV is wasting time.

Lagos has a very high debt profile of more than N500b , which has lingered since the time of Tinubu without getting liquidated . I don't see how Lagos can get loans or other means of funds to fund N1.38T budget, my check on previous lagos budget shows that they did not materialize. And was not above 75% budget performance.

But it is worth the effort to get state funded very well like they are trying.

The funniest thing is that those foreign lenders are always willing to fund Lagos all the time

When trying to enlighten ignorant minds that Anambra is the forth largest economy in Nigeria after Lagos, Abuja and Rivers they will be arguing emotionally blindly, Anambra was able to build massive projects like International Airport, International conference centre, Stadium, flyovers, Agulu Lake Hotel, mall, biggest Oxygen poduction plant in the East, bridges and so many others without placing huge debt on the state, still not owing any civil servant or pensioners, while dumb minds are celebrating fabricated IGR when their governors can't fund budgets without borrowing, all I can say they should continue celebrating white lies from their incompetent leaders na them go suffer

The issue with self sustenance in the Niger Delta has absolutely nothing to do with federalism, it's more of a problem caused by monumental corruption!

The high IGR is now looking more like a PR stunt to use and fool gullible APC followers of some phantom achievements and divert the people's attention from key national and regional issuesso that APC will come back in 2023

Take out Federal MDAs and IOC headquarters in Lagos state ...and the state becomes no better than Ekiti state.

Surprised all the mining operations and the expected accruing IGR in Ogun, the state still remain unviable.

As for those in the region of the rising sun that have developed every other part of the country except theirs, I can only hope they think twice before following through with their secessionist quest because their combined budget leaves a lot to be expected.

The IGR is nothing but media lies and propaganda.

In reality, those state generate nothing! Kano, ogun, Oyo, kaduna, akwa ibom cannot fund her budget because they are not financially bouyant and they generated a very small amount of money.
