Glo Weekly: This Glo internet bundle lasts for only 7days and offers you a data bundle of 50MB and costs just N400. To activate this bundle, dial *127*52#

Glo Always Micro: This Glo Internet bundle was initiated specifically for those with mobile phones, not Smartphones. This plan which formally offered a data bundle of 150MB for N1000 naira/per month now offers a data bundle of 200MB for the same N1000 naira only/ per month. To activate this bundle, dial *127*53# or just send “ACTIVATE ” to 127, wait for a response, then send “13″ to 127 again, then wait for a confirmation message.

Glo Always Min: This is a monthly subscription plan which formally offered a data bundle of 1.5GB has now been upgraded to 3GB for the same N5000 naira. To activate, just send “ACTIVATE ” to 127, wait for a response, then send “11″ to 127 again, then wait for a confirmation message.

Are you kidding me? My last two Airtel internet subscription was total wast of money. I subscribed to Airtel's 5k internet bundle in the name of saving cost, but guess what? I ended up subscribing to glo's 7,500 because my Airtel internet connection was unusable. One weird thing I've noticed about airtel is that their internet connection seems to be faster when you don't subscribe to any plan.

The second message though not in your inbox is the internet settings. You need to install and activate upon reception. Then, the third message will tell you that, you now have the settings. There are about 3 different mobile settings available from glo for mobile browsing. The various settings and methods of activation is listed below.

1. If you need the hsi (gloflat) settings that allows you to buy data plans, then, text 'gloflat' to 1234. The gloflat settings will arrive immediately. If you exhaust your data volume on this package before the expiration, glo will be billing you 5k/kb. The Data Plans on this settings is as follows:-
a. Instant surf. Valid for 24hrs at N100 for 10mb data.
b. One Week. Valid for 7 days at N400 for 50mb data.
c. Always Micro. Valid for 30 days at N1,000 for 200mb data.
d. Always Macro. Valid for 30 days at N3,000 for 1,024mb (1g) data.

2. If it is glosecure settings you want, text 'glosecure' to 1234. This settings does NOT support data plan. You will be browsing at 5k/kb.

3. There is also glogwap. If you need this settings, text 'glogwap' or 'Y' to 1234. After installing the wap settings, you need to text 'Y' to 1234 to receive MMS settings. Install upon reception. This settings does NOT support data plan as well. Your browsing will be charged at 5k/kb.

So, you can choose from any of the above settings.

Although you posted this on a wrong thread but, it should work. I bet, you don't have the correct settings. Text 'gloflat' now to 1234 to receive the correct settings.
