BREAKING: UAE Stops International Airlines From Boarding Nigerian Passengers To Dubai



LAGOS – The diplomatic crisis between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is getting worse as the latter has stopped foreign airlines from airlifting Nigerians to its destination (Dubai).

Information gathered by our correspondent this Monday morning indicated that Ethiopian Airlines, Turkish Air and other international airlines going to Dubai from their bases refused to board Nigerians whose final destination is the UAE.
The airlines it was gathered insisted that they have been directed not to airlift Nigerian passport holders to Dubai.

So far, hundreds of passengers are affected by this directive as Ethiopian Airline a few minutes ago offloaded their Nigerian passengers to Dubai.

They can't do without us, They make almost 50% of their revenues from Nigerians going for tourism, I believe both sides will soon come to talks, but then it's so childish of them to use these airlines as pawns.

Hmnn. These guys really want to bully Nigeria into submission. How can Emirates be allowed 21 flights weekly into Lagos and Abuja yet they maltreat Airpeace by giving them a measly one flight per week and to Sharjah instead of Dubai??

That's gross abuse and insult, yet Nigeria protests but instead of realizing their folly, they decide to punish Nigeria more

This is exactly what happens when you run your country aground! Meanwhile, let the diplomatic row continue and let's see if UAE won't lose far more than Nigeria.
