Has anyone in this platform been able to access his/ her OSS portal Or received a mail of invitation for OSS?

I advise we wait patiently, they will contact us with regards OSS interview. They can't be doing two things at a time. As I said earlier all the interviews (LSS and OSS) should be done within May God willing. They may continue OSS interview immediately they are done with LSS applicants. They can't just cancel the OSS like that. As you await invites, try to improve your SOP (if you apply for Msc) and RP (if you apply for PhD). They will give room for information update as they did for local applicants so that you can use the updated version of your SOP or RP. I learned there are newbies in this forum because if you know nairaland before you can testify that many people emerged victorious every year. But keep in mind that for every race there are winners and losers as well. Some people do ask about accommodation and admission. Please forget everything for now and just concentrate on your interview. Securing the scholarship is far more difficult than any other things. Just pray hard and do your best. Finally, ensure to master your SOP and RP. Thank you!

How is the updated version of SOP like. Is it same maximum of 500 words or there's room for supplements?

Same 500 words, but you can make changes to it if need be or even change it completely with a better one if available.

No. I can only view.
But I was able to edit LASS when I was sent the invite and asked to update. Though it was just my profile I updated it.

Pls is there option to change University choice for OSS in the same country when the update start for interview?
Because there's problem with some I applied and I got to realize it after I submitted my PTDF application.

Have you received an interview invitation mail? Because is only when mail start dropping we will all come to know whether it virtual or physical.

Guys, there is no need for you to panic. I am optimistic that soon Ptdf will send invitation emails. As said by Fatima, you should try mastering your SoP/RP and look for ways u can update them.

When they send the email, they will ask you to update your interview Center, SoP/RP and unis if you need to.

They might have to restrict interview for only phd students as universities in the U.K (e.g Strathclyde university) are already issueing CAS letters due to the lengthy time it takes visa to be issued now... (6 weeks on the average now as against the original 3 weeks).
Get prepared also for test just IF.

Before when PTDF started, it was tests that had been conducted to select best candidates but for MSc and PhD , later they adopted interviews.
Selecting best candidates for academics scholarships should be based on tests rather than oral interviews or the use both.

And what would be their basis or criteria for selection if it's done directly, I doubt, although time is going.

The same criteria used for shortlisting could be adopted, interview is the a defence of the already scored marks towards your shortlisting!

When you receive the LSS did you update it?
Secondly, I think should be another email that is supposed to drop again before on 9th. The one that will contain detailed information about the interview venue.

That’s not possible to get selected straightaway just like that. You will be SHORTLISTED for a test or an interview before the final selectiion

Ptdf may interview both MSc and PhD applicants and later on release the names of those successful.

Now, if one is able to process everything in terms of admission, visa and the rest one can leave the country by September. If one is not able, then it is normal for him to wait till January as there are schools that have January intake. You scholarship will remain valid till that time. So stop spreading that Ptdf may not interview MSc applicants due to time constraints.

There are scholars that got their scholarship since last year but are yet to move to their chosen countries. My friend will be leaving in the next two weeks.

So no need to panic please.
